Environmental Services Technician Lead - Advocate/Atrium Health Cleveland - 3rd Shift

About the role

Atrium Health is seeking a full-time Environmental Services Technician. This position promotes environmental protection by maintaining healthy and safe medical facilities for employees and visitors.

Schedule

11 pm to 7:30 am and every other weekend.

Pay

$20.80 – $31.20 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily staff duties and assignments, ensuring completion to set standards
• Evaluate conditions and cleanliness through inspection and quality-control measures
• Coordinate staff training on proper chemical use, equipment processes, and safety issues
• Provide leadership to staff aides and floor crew in the absence of the department supervisor
• Evaluate daily staff productivity and advise corrective action as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a housekeeper aide or similar role
• Ability to work independently and follow oral and written instructions
• Capability to complete written forms
• Willingness to undergo a physical ability test as a condition of employment

Physical Requirements

• Continuous walking and standing
• Potential for bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Potential for highly stressful situations due to customer concerns
