Environmental Services Technician (Laundry) - Summer Help

Responsibilities

• Focus on laundry with ability to float to other areas within the environmental services team as needed.
• Additional duties could include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, dusting assigned residential rooms and common areas.
• Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
• Maintain cleaning chart indicating areas that were cleaned and inspected.
• Replenish cleaning and maintenance supplies.
• Notify supervisors about unsafe conditions or concerning the need for repairs or maintenance.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Prior laundry, housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred.
• Previous experience in healthcare environment is a plus.
• A solid work history with excellent attendance & punctuality.
• A high school diploma/GED or 1 to 3 years of related experience.
• Basic computer knowledge including ability to complete required online safety classes.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
