About the role
Sentara Health is hiring a Full-time, Night Shift Environmental Services Tech III (Floor Tech) at Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Hours: 10:30 p.m. to 7 a.m., every other weekend.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of floors using mopping, scouring, scrubbing, stripping, and polishing
- Safe work habits with appropriate use of chemicals and equipment
- Cross-trained to perform Environmental Services Tech I duties, including cleaning, when necessary
Requirements
- 1 year of housekeeping or Environmental Services Department (ESD) experience (required in lieu of high school education)
- High School Graduate or equivalent (preferred)
- Less than 1 year of Environmental Associate experience (required)
- Floor Tech experience (preferred)
- Healthcare or hospitality experience (preferred)
