Environmental Services Technician – EVS

About the role

Performs simple, repetitive cleaning functions in various areas of the hospital. Maintains these areas in a sanitary, orderly and attractive manner in accordance with departmental and hospital policies and procedures. Their foremost function is to provide an environment conducive to patient care and recovery.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of assigned areas.
• Ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
• Provide a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
• Perform tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Previous healthcare experience, particularly in a service department.
• Experience with or training in customer service.
