The Environmental Services Technician at Mercy Hospital Perry is responsible for performing various cleaning and sanitation tasks to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the healthcare facility
- Maintain compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements
- Ensure a clean and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being
Qualifications
- Prior Hospital Environmental Service Experience
- Prior Work Experience Following Written and Verbal Instructions
- Previous Experience With Performing Manual Tasks
- Previous Experience Working With The Public; Customer Service
Physical Requirements
- Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
- Prolonged standing and walking each shift
- Able to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
