About the Role

The Environmental Services Technician is responsible for performing a variety of cleaning and sanitation tasks throughout the healthcare facility to ensure compliance with infection control standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a critical role in promoting a healthy and hygienic environment conducive to patient healing and well-being.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: None
• Experience: None

Preferred Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Prior Hospital Environmental service experience; prior work experience following written and verbal instructions; previous experience with performing manual tasks; prior experience working with the public; customer service

Physical Requirements

• Push, pull, and/or lift 50 pounds on a regular basis
• Prolonged standing and walking each shift
• Grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat to perform duties
