Job Responsibilities
Uses time well: Goes to assigned area immediately after receiving daily work sheet, supplies and keys, and does not leave work area earlier than 10 minutes before the end of the shift.
Adheres to scheduled lunch/break times, promptly responds to calls, notifies supervisor when assignments are completed.
- Uses proper procedures when cleaning Isolation rooms using proper personal protective clothing and equipment.
- Uses proper techniques for cleaning labs or high-risk areas.
- Cleans floors, sinks, commodes, showers, tubs, all furniture including fabric and upholstered, high and low dusting of all surfaces, windows, sills, mirrors, walls, tile, specialized equipment i.e.: in nurseries or Labor and Delivery.
- Cleans and replenishes all dispensers with soap and paper products, and housekeeping closets and equipment.
- Clean and return to appropriate storage area.
- Removes and properly disposes of all waste, including regular waste, recyclable waste and infectious waste, cleans waste cans inside and out and relines with appropriate liner.
Job Requirements
- Knowledge of all equipment used and skills necessary to perform assigned tasks
- 1-2 years experience in a related field
