ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES TECH I - DAYS - PARTTIME

Responsibilities

• Aids in maintaining a high-quality standard of housekeeping.
• Performs cleaning functions in assigned areas while following assigned schedules and specific methods.
• Provides a sanitary, orderly, and safe patient care environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
• Aid in prevention of cross contamination, controlling bacteria, odor, and sustaining acceptable aseptic conditions.
• Assist with furniture moves, recycling, curtain replacement, delivery of supplies, and the removal of trash and biohazard waste.

Linen Care

• Managing, sorting, cleaning, and distributing clean linens throughout the hospital.
• Collecting solid linens.
• Inventory management by keeping records of linen levels.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience in healthcare, school, or hospitality setting.
• Experience operating floor equipment, sweepers, and commercial washers/dryers.
• On-the-job training will be provided.

Skills

• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written).
• Basic knowledge of computer programs for documentation purposes.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Capable of managing challenging or crisis situations.
• Excellent customer service skills with patients, staff, and visitors.
• Familiarity with basic EVS equipment and cleaning protocols.

Credentials

• Entry USD $16.50/Hr.
• Max USD $25.58/Hr.
