Environmental Services Supervisor
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: Day - 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (with every other weekend and rotating holidays)
Location: St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington, DE
About the Role
The Environmental Services Supervisor assists the Director with the daily operations of the Environmental Services department. Ensures that the hospital and other designated areas are maintained in a clean, sanitized, and attractive condition. Works closely with Infection Control, Materials Management, and Plant Operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervises and coordinates colleagues.
- Prioritizes staffing needs and adjusts to changing healthcare designs.
- Completes duties in a timely manner under time constraints.
- Works independently and manages a team effectively.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience in housekeeping/environmental services; hospital or healthcare experience preferred.
- Supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated capabilities to manage and lead a team.
- Self-directed, organized, and possess leadership qualities.
- Computer knowledge using spreadsheets and word processing software.
