Environmental Services Specialist

General Summary

To clean all areas of responsibility in patient/non-patient areas and inside/outside the facility. Removes trash and linen, polices grounds, moves furnishings, sets up conference rooms and performs required cleaning functions related to transferring/discharging patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Completes cleaning of assigned area within allotted time and in a thorough manner.
• Sanitizes entire patient/guest room upon discharge or transfer.
• Polices grounds, removes trash, moves furnishing/equipment as required.
• Sets up rooms for functions
• Completes appropriate paperwork to report maintenance problems or needed repairs.
• Sweeps, mops, and vacuums Cleaning floors to include striping and waxing
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• A High School diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience cleaning floors to include striping and waxing.

Work Environment

• This role may require lifting up to 50 lbs.
