Environmental Services Partner- Community Heart and Vascular Hospital

As an Environmental Service Partner, you will maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary environment in a professional and courteous manner.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning tasks in assigned hospital areas to meet Joint Commission and State Board of Health standards.
• Replenish supplies and other dispensable items.
• Transport and dispose of waste and soiled materials.
• Operate and maintain equipment such as vacuum sweepers, trash carts, compactors, industrial washers/dryers, electric beds, and flatbed carts.
• Respect the confidentiality and privacy of patients, families, and staff.
• Communicate effectively with patients and staff in English (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding).

Requirements

• Ability to provide service in a willing and courteous manner.
• Foster teamwork with peers and other hospital staff.
• No license required; high school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must be able to lift, bend, push, and pull without restrictions.
• Ability to stand and/or walk for approximately eight hours a day.
• Good vision (with correction) for distances up to 20 feet and close-up tasks.
