About the role

Join the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital & Clinics team as an Environmental Services Technician and make a tangible difference in our community. This onsite position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals at all experience levels to contribute to a clean and safe environment for our patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and orderly environment that enhances the experience of patients, visitors, and staff.
• Manage the flow of clean and soiled linen by receiving, staging, and organizing it to ensure efficiency.
• Provide essential route coverage and public area support, assisting in discharge and turnover processes to facilitate smooth operations.
• Contribute to periodic detail cleaning tasks to ensure an exceptional standard of hygiene throughout our hospital and clinic locations.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• On-the-job training provided to enhance your skills.
• Strong customer service, teamwork, and interdepartmental communication skills.
• 1-3 years of experience in a hospital, clinic, long-term care, or other institutional environmental services setting preferred.
• Familiarity with the tools and software used in environmental services.

Pay

Competitive pay ranging from $15.53 to $23.30 per hour.
