About the role
Perform cleaning and sanitation duties in a healthcare setting, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
- Dusting, polishing, and disinfecting fixtures, floors, and high areas using ladders
- Operating cleaning equipment, including wet-mopping and shampooing
- Disposing of trash and moving heavy objects
- Performing terminal cleaning of patient rooms following safety procedures
- Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Supporting room preparation and environmental equipment operation
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or environmental services is a plus
- Strong work ethic and effective communication skills
- Ability to perform physical activities, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
