About the role

Connections Health Solutions is a leading provider of immediate-access behavioral health crisis care. Our team combines medical and recovery-oriented treatment to stabilize individuals in crisis and connect them to community-based resources for ongoing recovery.

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly skilled housekeeping, maintenance and handyman tasks to care for and maintain the facility and grounds.
  • Use knowledge of housekeeping processes, power and manual cleaning tools to perform tasks in categories such as general janitorial, cleaning, bio-hazard cleanups and minor facilities repairs.
  • Perform routine, rotational maintenance to ensure equipment and facility operations run smoothly.
  • Troubleshoot cleaning equipment issues, including electrical, mechanical, and process issues, independently, identifying and resolving root causes.
  • Provide occasional assistance in facility maintenance tasks as needed.
  • Respond to repair and maintenance tickets submitted by internal departments in a timely manner.
  • Cook with external vendors and contractors for outsourced repairs, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.
  • Oversee floor care vendor performance.
  • Inventory and supply management: order housekeeping and EVS supplies, monitor inventory levels, and report on supply status.
  • Receive, organize, and distribute supplies throughout the facility.
  • Report Environment of Care concerns through the ticketing system to support Safety Committee documentation and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to facility standards related to safety, maintenance, and operational readiness.
  • Maintain overall facility cleanliness, including floor care, general cleaning, restroom upkeep, and window cleaning.
  • Restock supplies and perform additional cleaning duties as needed to support a safe and functional environment.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 2 years of experience in housekeeping/janitorial cleaning.
  • Working knowledge of: Cleaning best practices and floor care.

Qualifications

  • Previous healthcare facility experience is preferred but not required.
  • 1 year of experience performing tasks requiring mechanical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of the methods, practices, materials, and tools used in the maintenance.
  • Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions involved in the use of mechanical equipment and chemicals.

Skills

  • Highly skilled in housekeeping, maintenance, and handyman tasks.
  • Knowledgeable in cleaning best practices and floor care.
  • Experience troubleshooting cleaning equipment issues.
  • Ability to respond to repair and maintenance tickets.
  • Experience working with external vendors and contractors.
  • Strong organizational skills for inventory and supply management.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
