About the role

The Environmental Services Technician - Environmental Services is responsible for sanitation, cleanliness, attractiveness, safety and smooth operation throughout the hospital building and outside grounds. This role requires physical ability, good judgment, and the ability to work cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of hospital facilities and grounds.
• Ensure safety standards are met and maintained.
• Operate assigned cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
• Work independently and without constant supervision.
• Communicate effectively with colleagues and management.

Requirements

• Able to read and comprehend written instructions and verbal directions.
• Able to learn to operate assigned equipment.
• Able to learn the job within 90 days.

Qualifications

Must be able to read written instructions and comprehend verbal instructions given in English. Must be able to understand and follow directions. Must also be able to learn to successfully operate assigned equipment. Must be able to learn the job within 90 days.
