Job Responsibilities
- Aids management and supervisors with sign-in, supplies, equipment sign-out and sign-in.
- Assists shift operations in preparing and delivering supplies to meet employees' needs.
- Might conduct a general assessment of public restrooms and on-call rooms.
- Enforces all departmental sanitation procedures.
- Reports all employee issues (safety, injuries, and disciplinary matters).
- Serves as supervisor for staff assignments to ensure efficient and high-quality cleaning services.
- Formulates action plans to address inefficiencies and quality discrepancies.
- Trains, coaches, and motivates employees.
- Maintains an accurate record-keeping system for quality control.
- Complies with all established systems and training programs for a safe working environment.
- Maintains compliance with OSHA regulations and other local, state, and federal government guidelines.
- Maintains all necessary records and reports to comply with Aramark, government, and accrediting agency standards, regulations, and codes.
Qualifications
- Requires 1-2 years of experience in environmental services.
- Ability to communicate (both verbally and written) effectively.
- Ability to apply elementary math functions.
- Works well under time constraints.
- Knowledge of infection control procedures and universal precautions.
- Ability to work independently after appropriate training and instruction.
- Maintains a friendly and efficient service attitude towards customers, co-workers, and clients.
