Environmental Services EVS Manager
About the role
Aramark Healthcare+ is seeking an EVS Manager for the 2nd shift to lead custodial operations at Holland Hospital in Holland, MI. This position includes a relocation assistance package and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Responsibilities
- Directly supervise and support a team of 25 EVS staff.
- Conduct interviews and make hiring suggestions.
- Perform annual evaluations of staff performance.
- Supervise and conduct initial and annual staff training.
- Create day-off rosters.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee daily cleaning operations for patient rooms, surgical areas, exam rooms, and common areas.
- Ensure consistent execution of cleaning and infection control protocols through Quality Audits (inspections).
- Monitor workload distribution and adjust based on staffing levels and census.
- Respond promptly to customer service issues and implement corrective actions.
- Address attendance and productivity issues with guidance from the hospital human resources department.
Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in environmental services or another service-related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred.
- Model key leadership behaviors and ensure the highest levels of safety, quality, and service excellence.
