Environmental Services EVS Manager
About the role
The Environmental Services (EVS) Manager develops and executes facility solutions to ensure all health and safety standards are met, services and maintains physical locations to client specifications, and leads facility-account operations to meet objectives and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Leadership
- Own and be accountable for the operational management and financial performance of the unit
- Coach employees by creating a shared understanding of what needs to be achieved and how

- Plan and lead team management meetings
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations
- Client Relationship
- Establish and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships
- Identify client needs and communicate operational progress
- Deliver and model WEST as the foundation for excellent customer service
- Facilitate and support new business and retention activities
- Develop programs (facilities, custodial, energy, grounds, or maintenance) to meet client and customer demands
- Financial Performance
- Build revenue and manage budget, including cost controls for labor, supply, and inventory
- Complete and maintain financial statements for the department
- Deliver client and company financial targets
- Adopt Aramark processes and systems; eliminate custom/manual reports
- Understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins
- Productivity
- Implement and maintain GM agenda for labor and total quality management requirements
- Create value through efficient operations, cost controls, and profit management
- Ensure consistent application of Aramark’s operating standards and processes, focusing on sustainability to reduce energy consumption and improve labor productivity

Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare environmental services
- Up to 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Model key leadership behaviors and ensure high levels of safety, quality, and service excellence
