Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2

About the role

The Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 oversees operations and leads a team of housekeepers on the 2nd shift at a healthcare account in the Boston Metro West area of Massachusetts. This position reports to the General Manager.

Responsibilities

• Drive client and patient satisfaction scores
• Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
• Work closely with the Infectious Control department
• Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director
• Effectively manage the Unit Operating Systems
• Support a diverse and inclusive workforce

Requirements

• Experience leading and managing a team
• Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently
• Ability to analyze data, present, and communicate effectively within the organization
• Experience managing projects within agreed-upon timelines
• Results and safety-driven mindset

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum Management Experience: 2 Years
• Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
