About the role
The Environmental Services / Custodial Operations Manager 2 oversees operations and leads a team of housekeepers on the 2nd shift at a healthcare account in the Boston Metro West area of Massachusetts. This position reports to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Drive client and patient satisfaction scores
- Provide a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors and staff
- Work closely with the Infectious Control department
- Work with the Environment of Care Committee and Infection Prevention Director
- Effectively manage the Unit Operating Systems
- Support a diverse and inclusive workforce
Requirements
- Experience leading and managing a team
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work independently
- Ability to analyze data, present, and communicate effectively within the organization
- Experience managing projects within agreed-upon timelines
- Results and safety-driven mindset
Qualifications
- Minimum Education Requirement: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum Management Experience: 2 Years
- Minimum Functional Experience: 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
