Environmental Services Attendant - Full-Time - Environmental Services

About the role

The Environmental Services Attendant is a staff position responsible for maintaining environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of the facility. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, the Attendant strives to support a patient-centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of quality patient services provided at WMRMC.

Responsibilities

• Exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge in performing a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the facility.
• Distributes and tracks clean linens to departments and maintains stock levels on nursing floors.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Qualifications

• Custodial experience

Skills

• Professional knowledge in performing cleaning tasks
