Environmental Services Associate Tech

Responsibilities
- Clean, disinfect, and stock patient rooms, offices, and ancillary areas according to established procedures.
- Remove and dispose of linens and waste streams.
- Perform interim and restorative maintenance to hard floors, carpets, and upholstery according to procedures.
- Assemble, maintain, and store equipment/supplies necessary to complete tasks according to department standards.
- Communicate and collaborate with other team members to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
- Report general maintenance and specialized cleaning requirements in work area.
- Assist visitors and employees in navigating through the hospital to reach their destination.
- Work within one cleaning area; may be expected to work across department sites for coverage and business need.
- Actively participate in safety initiatives and risk mitigating measures; complete all position and unit safety-related competencies and requirements on a timely basis.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
Qualifications
- Preferred: High school graduate or equivalent.
- Preferred: Public service and/or customer service experience in a hotel, hospital, environmental services, or janitorial setting.
