Responsibilities

• Maintain safe and clean environments for patients, staff, and visitors by primarily cleaning procedural areas that are established by the department.
• Provide excellent customer service when working with patients, visitors, and other staff members.
• Have industry knowledge in the cleaning of specific departments such as the Emergency Department, Operating Rooms, and other unique procedural areas.

• Must possess strong communication skills; ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to distinguish the differences between levels of disinfection and perform low and intermediate level disinfection.
• Must be able to explain orally or in writing the differences between levels of disinfection and perform intermediate level disinfection in areas where required.
• Must be able to operate necessary equipment/machines.
• Must effectively use computers and mobile devices.
• Must respectfully listen to viewpoints and ideas of others.
• Must communicate openly and candidly, creating an environment where co-workers and team members reciprocate in kind.
• Must respect others' viewpoints and ideas.
• Must be able to work without close supervision.

Physical Requirements

• Medium Work - Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly.
