Environmental Service Business Leader

About the role

We are looking for an Environmental Services Business Leader to expand our services and footprint, in our growing Environmental Services (ES) team in North Carolina and to serve the overall Southeast environmental consulting market. Preferably you would report to our Asheville, North Carolina office; however, this could be a hybrid position with opportunities to work in other North Carolina-based offices.

Responsibilities

• Grow our presence in the North Carolina ES Practice, serving due diligence, assessment and remediation, Brownfields, utilities, manufacturing, industrial compliance, and real estate markets, as well as serving existing SCS ES clients.
• Manage and be responsible for profit/loss of North Carolina projects.
• Seek profitable ways to increase ES staff across North Carolina.
• Manage and continue to build a team of ES professionals to support growth.
• Contribute to SCS’s continued growth by developing new and existing clients in your experienced market(s).
• Integrate with other ES staff across the company.
• Manage and be responsible for profit/loss of North Carolina projects.
• Seek profitable ways to increase ES staff across North Carolina.
• Manage and continue to build a team of ES professionals to support growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in an environmental-related science or engineering field required.
• 12+ years of related work experience required.
• North Carolina environmental and/or engineering experience required.
• Business development experience in the North Carolina market required.
• North Carolina Registered Professional Geologist (PG), or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred.
• Valid driver's license and driving record in good standing required.

Pay

Pay Range: USD $115,000.00 - USD $150,000.00 /Yr.
