About The Role
Environmental Reporting Advisor
Up to 24 months fixed term contract/secondment
37 hours per week
Salary: £31,960 - £37,600 (depending On Experience)
Location: Pity Me, Durham
What We Do
Working closely with stakeholders across the organization, you will collect, analyze and interpret environmental data, producing meaningful reports, dashboards and performance metrics that track progress against environmental objectives and sustainability commitments.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyse and interpret environmental data
- Develop and maintain environmental policies and processes
- Support ESG reporting requirements
- Provide specialist advice to colleagues and project teams
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Transform complex information into actionable insights and recommendations
Requirements
- Strong analytical skills
- Passion for sustainability
- Ability to turn complex environmental data into clear and actionable insights
- Comfortable working with large volumes of environmental and performance data
- Proven track record of developing and managing reporting programs
- Collaborative working with a range of stakeholders
- Technical skills in Microsoft Excel and Power BI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Passionate about using data and reporting to support environmental performance
- Understanding of environmental management systems, particularly ISO 14001 and audit processes
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability performance reporting
Qualifications
- Degree-level qualification, or equivalent relevant experience
- Understanding of environmental management systems, particularly ISO 14001 and audit processes
- Knowledge of ESG reporting frameworks and sustainability performance reporting
