Environmental Quality Analyst 1

This is a full-time, onsite, Environmental Quality Analyst 1 position located in Fairfield, NJ, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
- Oversee, review, complete, and process various quality forms, documents, databases, and related materials.
- Provide analysis, interpretation, and guidance to staff, management, and functional leaders regarding quality policies, programs, and practices, including support for operational improvements and change initiatives.
- Research and resolve management and employee questions related to quality requirements; assist with customer feedback investigations and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Analyze operational results, feedback, and quality data to identify trends, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations for management.
- Audit, review, and verify accuracy of testing, equipment, procedures, operational databases, and reports; collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the development and execution of quality and cross-functional projects, including budgeting, timelines, resource planning, and project reporting.
- Interpret and apply departmental policies, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
- Promote and support the mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating professional, courteous, and cooperative behavior with customers and colleagues and fostering a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Operations, or a closely related field; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Required Knowledge: Fundamental principles, practices, and techniques of quality management; Administration and oversight of quality programs, policies, and procedures; Methods for identifying and resolving quality-related issues, questions, and concerns; Applicable quality regulations, standards, and compliance requirements; Standard testing equipment, tools, and calibration processes; Computer applications and systems related to quality management and reporting; Principles and practices of effective project team participation; Effective communication methods for interacting with staff, coworkers, and customers; Business English usage, including grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Required Skills: Performing professional-level quality responsibilities across multiple functional areas; Administering and supporting a variety of quality programs and processes; Training employees on quality policies, procedures, and standards; Participating in and supporting projects and project teams; Interpreting, applying, and explaining laws, regulations, standards, and procedures; Preparing reports, correspondence, and other business documents; Exercising initiative and sound judgment within established guidelines; Demonstrating tact, discretion, and professionalism when interacting with others; Delivering effective presentations to both small and large groups; Contributing to team goals, objectives, and operational success; Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
