Environmental Analyst

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental compliance activities.
  • Support the preparation of air permit applications and determinations.
  • Develop and implement stormwater pollution prevention plans.
  • Compile and analyze annual air emissions inventory reports.
  • Prepare and ensure timely submission of Tier II reports.
  • Audit and assist with regulatory audits at fertilizer manufacturing and distribution locations.
  • Investigate, assist with, and review facility environmental incidents.
  • Design, prepare, and deliver environmental-related training.
  • Collaborate with senior peers to develop and manage an annual environmental budget.
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance to facility supervisors and managers.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Preferred 3-5 years of related experience.
  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience working and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

About the Role

The Environmental Analyst will actively engage in all activities related to environmental regulatory compliance for a diversified wholesale fertilizer distribution and manufacturing company. This includes executing compliance-related initiatives and maintaining new and existing programs and policies to ensure adherence to all Federal, State, and local environmental regulations. This role partners closely with operations, safety, and legal teams to proactively manage environmental compliance.

Location and Benefits

This is a full-time position based at our office in Omaha, NE, Monday through Friday. Relocation assistance is available.
