Environmental & PCA Assistant Project Manager

Core Responsibilities
- Work Product Creation, Project Management, Coordination with Team Members
- Assist in conducting and managing Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESA), Property Condition Assessments (PCA), and commercial energy usage assessments including field inspections and report writing.
- Manage project deliverables, milestones, and budgets to ensure timely completion.
- Work closely with senior managers to coordinate work activities and meet performance indicators.
- Prepare, review, and submit final reports in accordance with regulations, applicable guidance, and internal quality control standards.
- Ensure project work is completed within the designated timeframe and budget.
- Support assigned supervisor in meeting or exceeding the defined annual budget for the entire practice area.
- Monitor individual utilization performance and collaborate with others to achieve desired business outcomes.
- Proactively coordinate with other team members as needed, ensuring high-quality work product.
- Support assigned supervisor in monitoring relevant data such as individual utilization performance, client deadlines, and accurate timesheet data.
- Maintain high utilization goals as set by company leadership.
- Support quality control of service delivery with all individual work product production.
- Collaborate with other team members to identify and escalate client, team member, or operational challenges.
Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or 5 years of related work experience and no degree.
- Phase I ESAs and PCAs following ASTM guidelines.
- Experience with assessment, remediation, and compliance with the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) regulatory programs (e.g., LUST, SRP) as well as other relevant regulatory agencies within the region.
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification.
- Health & Safety Certification pursuant to OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZWOPER 40 Hour).
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills in English.
- Strong technical report writing skills in English.
- Ability/willingness for frequent travel for field work (valid driver’s license required).
- Working proficiency with office applications - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Ability to walk job sites during inspections, sometimes on uneven terrain, climb ladders to access and evaluate roofing conditions and roof-mounted equipment, and carry field testing equipment (up to 30 pounds) onto job site.
- Knowledgeable in providing reliable work product review as assigned.
- Able to communicate effectively (written and verbal) with co-workers and Supervisors, and clients, subcontractors, and vendors as assigned.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated self-awareness and flexibility in working with a variety of personalities and work styles (colleagues, clients, Assigned Supervisors).
- Able to handle multiple priorities and perform consistently and positively under high stress conditions.

The Pay Range For This Role Is $55,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD annually (Geographical Tier A - Sample Locations: Irvine CA, Middlesex NJ, Tacoma WA, Boston, Alexandria) $51,000.00 - $138,000.00 USD annually (Geographical Tier B - Sample Locations: Baltimore, Chicago, Anchorage, Portland)
