About the Role
Collects samples for Environmental Monitoring (EM) and Utilities Monitoring (UM). Responsible for all sample collection and logistics as needed. Coordinates testing materials and supplies needed for testing. Performs sample and data entry into LIMS system.
Leadership Responsibilities
- Supports and monitors team of direct reports.
- May participate in new hire interviews.
- Supports the on-boarding process of new employees.
- Participates in training of other employees.
Requirements
- Completed Bachelor’s degree in a scientific concentration.
- Previous leadership experience.
- Comfortable with being on your feet and walking around a manufacturing plant for the duration of the shift.
- Solid work ethic with the ability to handle multiple tasks/priorities.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Flexible self-starter and results-oriented.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Scientific background preferred.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
Schedule
The position is full-time, Sun-Wed or Wed-Sat, 8am-6pm with overtime as needed.
