Key Responsibilities
- Conduct facility safety & environmental inspections
- Maintain OSHA, EPA & state regulatory compliance
- Manage air, stormwater, waste, and environmental permitting
- Lead accident/incident investigations and root-cause analysis
- Maintain SDS programs and chemical inventories
- Develop and conduct employee safety & compliance training
- Support the Safety Committee & Emergency Response Team
- Cook up OSHA, EPA, and regulatory inspections/audits
- Manage workers’ compensation claims in partnership with HR & Operations
- Maintain EHS records, permits, training documentation, IH testing, audiograms, and respirator fit testing
- Promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement
- Cook up emergency preparedness and response activities
Education & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field
- 3+ years of applicable EHS experience
- Proficiency with EHS data management systems and Microsoft Office
Preferred
- First Aid / CPR / AED certification
- OSHA 30 or equivalent
- ASP, CSP, CHMM, or other professional certifications
