ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER

About the role

The Environmental Health & Safety Manager oversees all aspects of workplace safety and environmental compliance. This includes conducting regular inspections, implementing safety protocols, and ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conducts regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Develops and implements safety training programs for employees.
• Oversees the implementation and maintenance of environmental policies and procedures.
• Monitors and reports on environmental performance metrics.
• Collaborates with other departments to address workplace safety and environmental issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and environmental laws.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Experience with risk assessment and hazard management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
