About the role
The EHS Program Manager leads initiatives that ensure compliance, safeguard our teams, and strengthen our commitment to environmental responsibility. This role designs and manages programs that promote a culture of sustainability and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, hazard assessments, job safety analyses (JSAs), ergonomic evaluations, and safety audits.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective/preventive actions.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audits and inspections.
- Monitor and analyze workplace safety metrics; recommend improvement strategies.
- Ensure timely reporting/processing of workers’ compensation claims.
- Communicate regularly with WC insurance contacts regarding program administration and claims management, ensuring prompt and aggressive claims management and follow through.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering, Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing, industrial, or engineering environments.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and local environmental regulations.
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or similar credential preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and training skills in English and Spanish.

Base pay scale: $90,300 - $120,100.
