About the role
This position provides leadership and supports the development and implementation of environmental, health & safety (EHS) compliance programs for the Fairless and Garrison plants.
Responsibilities
- Analyze, prepare, and submit all environmental reports and regulatory compliance notifications.
- Manage recordkeeping and programs required for EHS regulatory compliance.
- Oversee injury and near-miss incidents, including reporting, investigations, and lessons learned.
- Ensure plant employees are properly trained on permits and all company EHS procedures and policies.
- Maintain awareness of safe working conditions and practice safe work habits in all activities.
- Educate and promote safe work practices and programs.
- Interact with external agencies as a representative of the plant and the company.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 years of experience working with and providing oversight of environmental and safety compliance at power plants or other industrial locations.
- Familiarity with EPA, state, and Federal OSHA or MSHA regulations.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including procedures development and implementation.
- Experience delivering communications and training related to EHS compliance, corrective actions, and lessons learned.
- Experience with OSHA VPP program management (preferred).
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (preferred).
- Experience with Maximo or CMMS systems used for EHS reporting (preferred).

- Strong skillset in resolving technical issues to ensure EHS compliance.
- Proven project management skills.
- Maintains relationships with regulatory agencies as the primary plant liaison.
