Key Responsibilities
- Develop and enforce EHS policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations of ISO-14001/ISO-45001 certification pertaining to company operations
- Perform regular risk assessments and hazard analyses to identify potential safety and environmental hazards
- Conduct routine safety audits and facility inspections to monitor compliance and detect potential hazards
- Provide training to employees on EHS protocols, safety procedures, and emergency response
- Develop and maintain environmental programs, including waste management, pollution control, and sustainability initiatives
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure the organization complies with OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to EHS activities, including incident reports and compliance audits
- Promote a culture of safety and well-being among employees
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience in environmental, health & safety or related field within a lean manufacturing environment.
