About the role
This role supports the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, and Safety programs.
Responsibilities
- Affords assistance in inspection/auditing of facility and work areas to detect existing or potential accident and health hazards; recommends corrective or preventative measures where indicated.
- Affords assistance in maintaining S4 status through the 11 Elements of our corporate EH&S System.
- Conducts job hazard analysis.
- Makes studies and analyses of industrial accident causes and hazards to health for use by company personnel and outside agencies.
- Affords assistance in formulating general safety policies and procedures to be followed by company or plant personnel in compliance with local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
- Prepares and arranges safety exhibits and material for display, promotional work, industry conferences and exhibitions.
- Ensures continual improvement with environmental projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree full-time at an accredited university.
- Graduate date of May 2027 or later.
- Available to work a minimum of 25 hours per week year-round.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Must be able to work in the US without Visa Sponsorship.
