Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will manage plant environmental, health and safety programs to help ensure operations minimize environmental impact while supporting a safe workplace. You will lead and support the development and implementation of a facility-wide environmental, health and safety culture through technical expertise, program development, training, and relationship building. You will drive safety and environmental initiatives that support zero injuries, regulatory compliance, sustainability stewardship, and continuous improvement across the facility. A Taste Of Your Responsibilities Manage all aspects of environmental, health, safety, and sustainable development programs for the facility.Direct environmental compliance and performance activities in accordance with government regulations, corporate standards, and applicable environmental requirements.Ensure timely completion and submission of all required environmental reports.Promote a safe and accident-free work environment through training, monitoring, and continuous improvement programs.Plan and deliver environmental, health, and safety training for managers and employees.Support incident investigations and prepare reports required by regulatory agencies.Conduct facility inspections and audits to identify existing or potential hazards and recommend corrective or preventive actions.Facilitate safety committee activities and serve as a resource to committee members and subcommittees.Administer initial workers' compensation processes and support case management activities.Guide facility teams toward compliance with federal, state, and local environmental and safety regulations.Determine required compliance training and ensure completion of Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, and company-required training programs.Analyze incident and injury data to identify trends and implement preventive measures.Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate current practices and recommend improvements that strengthen environmental performance, sustainability, and workplace safety. Ingredients Required For Your Success Bachelor’s degree in industrial Hygiene, Safety Management, Environmental Health and Safety, or a related field preferred.5+ years of environmental, health, and safety experience in a manufacturing environment.Certified Safety Professional certification preferred.Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Environmental Protection Agency, and Department of Transportation regulations.Experience leading teams, conducting audits and risk assessments, and driving regulatory compliance.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.Experience preparing regulatory reports, procedures, and compliance documentation. Physical Requirements More information about essential tasks and the facility will be shared during the hiring process. This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities. When visiting these sites, the physical requirements below may apply: You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination. You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size. This is a manufacturing environment with large, moving equipment. Noise levels can be high, and temperatures may vary. Compensation Pay Range:$82,000-$120,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
