Position Overview
Aid with internal safety and environmental audits.
Conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSAs) and develop procedures for safe equipment operation.
Carry out workplace environmental monitoring (light, noise, chemicals).
Manage Safety Data Sheet (SDS) inventory.
Support compliance recordkeeping.
Ensure production signage is current.
Research and implement safety and environmental best practices.
Position Requirements
- Student enrolled full time or part-time at an accredited university or technical college.
Some relevant degrees: Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Business Administration. - Minimum 15 but up to 40 hours per week availability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division of whole numbers, decimals, and fractions.
