Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager

About the role

The Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager is responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations. This role involves overseeing safety programs, conducting audits, and managing incident investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and implement safety programs to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Manage incident investigations, including reporting and follow-up actions.
• Develop and maintain training programs for employees on EHS best practices.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve overall workplace safety and health.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS management or a related field.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and regulations.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead safety initiatives and drive improvements.
• Experience in developing and implementing EHS policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

$80,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
