Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead, leverage, and guide the work of others in creating and implementing health, safety, occupational, and environmental programs to prevent workplace injuries and environmental accidents.
- Inspect workplace and environmental incidents in accordance with company procedures and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements related to environmental and employee health and safety and identify areas for improvement.
- Develop and manage an environmental and employee health & safety training plan.
- Maintain relationships with the community, environmental groups, and other stakeholders impacted by the environmental performance of the organization.
Qualifications
- BA degree or related work experience required in lieu of degree.
