About the role
Jacuzzi Group, a leading manufacturer of hot tubs, swim spas, baths, showers, saunas, and pool equipment, is seeking a passionate & data-driven Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager to join their global team and directly support their local plant in Roselle, Illinois.
Responsibilities
- Provide EH&S leadership and support to the Roselle manufacturing facility
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other EH&S regulations while working to reduce workplace injuries and incidents
- Maintain and update EH&S policies, procedures, and safety manuals
- Develop and implement safety programs and training for employees and contractors
- Monitor and maintain records of incidents, injuries, and near-miss events
- Conduct incident investigations and root cause analyses to prevent recurrence
- Lead safety meetings and partner with supervisors and managers on risk prevention initiatives
- Administer industrial hygiene programs including chemical exposure, heat stress, and noise monitoring
- Conduct internal EH&S audits and risk assessments to ensure regulatory readiness
- Maintain required certifications, permits, and regulatory reporting (OSHA Form 300, EPCRA, etc.)
- Oversee forklift safety, material handling practices, and safe facility operations
- Ensure proper emergency response plans, teams, and First Aid/CPR coverage are in place
- Coverage of other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety or a related field required
- 4 - 6 years of experience in an EH&S management position within an industrial manufacturing environment
- CEP, CSP or CIH/CAIH certification preferred
- Demonstrated knowledge of EH&S systems, processes, regulations (29 CFR 1910) and standards
- Extensive knowledge of Workers' Compensation rules, regulations, procedures, and processes
- Must be able to prepare technical reports, company presentations and briefings to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to effectively train, coach and mentor a diverse array of employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong planning and organizational skills required
- Capable of conducting comprehensive accident investigations and readily identify unsafe conditions, equipment, and practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Able to work effectively both independently and with a team
