Pacific Coast Producers (PCP), a growing agricultural cooperative with food production facilities across the West Coast, is seeking an experienced and talented Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator to join its team at its The Dalles, OR facilities. About the role

The EHS Coordinator supports environmental, health, and safety operations across two manufacturing facilities by maintaining compliance records, assisting with safety audits, and coordinating employee training. Manages PPE inventory, aids in incident investigation documentation, and helps maintain a safe, compliant work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, organize, and update all EHS training files, compliance records, OSHA logs, and safety data sheets (SDS).
  • Assist with routine facility walkthroughs and safety audits to help identify potential hazards.
  • Help schedule, track, and prepare materials for employee safety training, orientation, and regular drills.
  • Assist in gathering initial documentation, notes, and photos for incident investigations or Workers' Compensation files.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels for personal protective equipment (PPE), first aid stations, and safety signage across both facilities.
  • Participate actively in safety committee meetings and undertake additional administrative tasks as needed to support facility objectives.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of direct experience working in an EHS capacity or safety-focused role.
  • Previous experience working within a manufacturing or production environment is required.
  • College coursework or an Associate's degree in workplace safety or a related field is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required with a clean driving record to facilitate travel between company locations and transport employees as necessary.
  • Demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • A collaborative yet independent worker who brings proven organizational and problem-solving skills to the table.

Pay

$45,000 to $60,000 per year (based on experience); profit-sharing bonus-eligible.
