Responsibilities
- Interface and ensure compliance with Local, State and Federal environmental and safety regulations including permits and related issues
- Develop, implement, and maintain safety and security policies, plans, and procedures
- Interface with various regulatory agencies while hosting, documenting, responding to and tracking audits, and inspections
- Conduct training on general security, safety, fire hazards, and occupational incident prevention
- Plan, develop, and implement safety and security training for new employee orientation, and recurrent programs; this includes working with management on an employee personal protective equipment program
- Supports the Security general training needs
- All other duties as assigned or required

Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
- Expertise in manufacturing / industrial environment
- Excellent skills of written and spoken English language
- HAZWOPR 40hour certification desirable
- Knowledge in OSHA 10, SERP desirable
- Familiarity with 49 CFR, DOT HM181, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, ISO45001 desirable
- MS Office knowledge as user
