About the role
Mosaic is seeking an Environmental Engineer Co-Op/Intern to support the company’s Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) targets. The position involves reviewing permitting projects, conducting environmental tests, and contributing to annual and ad hoc reporting.
Responsibilities
- Support the company’s ESG targets through environmental project management and engineering field work.
- Prepare and submit permit applications and conduct on-site inspections.
- Conduct facility environmental testing and sampling in accordance with regulatory and company procedures.
- Manage environmental field sampling data using electronic databases.
- Communicate with various organizational levels, including management, plant operators, engineers, tradespersons, and contractors.
- Participate in department meetings and project-specific meetings.
- Adhere to Mosaic’s mission, guiding principles, and priorities.
Requirements
- Junior level or above by May 2027, pursuing a bachelor's in Environmental Engineering.
- Average GPA of 2.75 or higher.
- Experience in an industrial chemical and mining environment.
- One to two years of relevant experience, preferably in internships or co-ops.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work full-time and maintain student status during the co-op/internship period.
