Key job responsibilities

Leadership and Environmental Data Management: Drive innovation in environmental due diligence, permitting, design and construction tracking through the development of integrated Smartsheet solutions that are connected to our wider suite of internal digital tools. Design and develop monitoring and tracking systems using advanced analytics for environmental metrics including due diligence risk, permitting delivery and construction risks.

Environmental performance evaluation: Build and implement predictive analytics models to forecast potential environmental risks and automate risk assessment processes. Create intelligent data pipelines and real-time monitoring dashboards to transform environmental compliance data into actionable insights. Maintain and enhance analytical models while ensuring scalability and performance.

Implementation and operation: Lead the integration of Smartsheet solutions with existing EHS software systems and data architectures. Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into digital solutions. Develop and optimize Smartsheet solutions for automated reporting and compliance pattern recognition.

Continual improvement: Drive ongoing scalable improvement of our digital tools and systems to meet business, customer, stakeholder and partner needs.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field
  • 1+ years of processing large, multi-dimensional datasets from multiple sources experience
  • 1+ years of performing statistical analysis experience
  • 1+ years of developing automated reporting experience
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
  • 5-7+ years’ experience with environmental health & safety management software development or analytics and post-internship software implementation experience
  • Experience in the development of Smartsheet platform modules.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets
