Responsibilities
- Manage assigned environmental projects from kickoff through closeout, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables
- Perform environmental fieldwork, inspections, monitoring, or sampling activities as required by assigned projects
- Prepare, review, and contribute to environmental reports, technical memoranda, site specific compliance plans, or permit documentation in accordance with applicable regulations and project requirements
- Support environmental compliance, permitting, assessment, or monitoring activities
- Collect, compile, and analyze environmental data to support project deliverables and decision-making
- Maintain accurate project documentation, field logs, and records to support audits, regulatory reviews, or internal quality control
- Cook up with project managers, technical staff, and clients to support effective project execution
- Communicate with regulatory agencies or stakeholders as directed to support permitting, reporting, inspections, or project coordination
- Stay informed of relevant environmental regulations, guidance, and industry best practices applicable to assigned work
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to entry-level staff as appropriate to role and project needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of professional environmental experience
- Understanding of environmental regulations affecting complex industrial facilities such as Clean Air Act (CAA), Clean Water Act (CWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) and/or Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA)
- Experience supporting environmental compliance, permitting, monitoring, assessment, or related activities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong technical writing, documentation, and data interpretation skills
- Working knowledge of environmental regulations applicable to assigned projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project deadlines
- Professional judgment and discretion in technical, regulatory, and client interactions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in environmental science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
