Responsibilities
- Lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
- Perform thorough room cleaning, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing, following all training policies to ensure areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned.
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain positive working relationships and communicate effectively with other departments, residents, families, and staff.
- Report any issues encountered during daily routines to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
Requirements
- High school graduate, G.E.D., or job-related education.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English at a minimum 6th-grade level.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and complete high school-level computational tasks.
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of housekeeping tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
- Adhere to SPHP Standards of Behavior.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.

Pay
Pay range: $16.20 - $19.74 per hour, based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The range may vary by location.
