About the Role
The goal of Environmental Services is to provide a clean, orderly, and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff in keeping with the mission and philosophy of St. Peter's Health Partners. We are looking for an energetic candidate who is seeking opportunities for growth and development to join our Environmental Services team.
Responsibilities
- Thorough room cleaning: follow all processes as designated by training policies to ensure all areas, fixtures, and surfaces are cleaned daily or as assigned, and in a timely manner.
- Comply with infection control policies and procedures.
- Maintain good working relationships and communicate with other departments, residents, families, and fellow staff. Respond pleasantly to all requests.
- Communicate any problems encountered while performing daily routines to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Housekeeping Supervisor or Director.
Requirements
- Perform functions, duties, and carry out responsibilities of housekeeping.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing.
Pay
Pay range: $16.20 - $19.74 per hour. Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary based on location.
Schedule
Part-time, evening shift.
