Duties And Responsibilities
- Ensure that the facility is always in operating condition- 24/7
- Perform regular inspections of the facilities to determine any work that is required
- Investigate and service any complaints or concerns involving the facility interior
- Create, update, and implement proper SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for tasks performed by each department
- Maintenance Department
- Inspect work performed to ensure it meets the required expectations and standards set by the company and leadership
- Perform and assist with cleaning and maintenance duties as required
- Meet with maintenance staff to discuss performance and expectations regularly
- Find and implement ways to improve quality and efficiency throughout the facility
- Safety and Compliance
- Responsible for a safe workplace whereas each employee belongs to the company safety culture
- Ensure that safety equipment is in place and operable and equipment meets OSHA requirements to the extent that the manufacturing location is safe and compliant
- Enforce safety and sanitation regulations
- Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions
- Recommend or implement measures to motivate employees and to improve production methods, equipment performance, product quality, or efficiency
- Requisition materials, supplies, equipment parts, or repair services
- Set up and adjust machines and equipment
- Bachelor's degree or Experience in the building trades with an emphasis on life safety and the environment of care
- 3-5 years in a hospital or nursing home setting
