About the Role

McFarland Clinic is seeking a service-oriented, team-focused Environmental Service Worker for its Ames office. This role is responsible for maintaining the clinic in a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition to provide extraordinary care to our patients every day.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks as assigned, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms.
• Sterilize buildings and remove waste paper and medical waste from offices, exam rooms, and waiting areas.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Work with common cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• PC experience required; housekeeping experience preferred.
• Hepatitis B and TB immunizations (provided by the clinic).
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive company vehicles, if applicable.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks.

Schedule

• 2-3 days per week.
• Hours: 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
