About the Role

McFarland Clinic is seeking a service-oriented, team player for the Enviro Service Worker position at its Ames office. The ideal candidate will provide extraordinary care every day to our patients by maintaining a sanitary, attractive, and orderly clinic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning tasks as assigned, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning restrooms.
• Sterilize buildings and remove waste paper and possible medical waste from offices, exam rooms, and waiting areas.
• Lift up to 75 lbs.
• Work with common cleaning chemicals.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or HiSET.
• PC experience required; housekeeping experience preferred.
• Hepatitis B and TB immunizations (provided by the clinic).
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to drive company vehicles, if required for the job assignment.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal history background checks are required.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
