Seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer to provide on-the-floor support at a manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with EHS policies through routine audits, safety observations, and employee engagement initiatives. The role also supports incident investigations and follows up on corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.
Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with EHS policies through routine audits and safety observations
- Support incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions
- Engage employees in safety initiatives
- Apply knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine safety, and risk assessment/hazard identification methodologies
- Oversee fall protection, dock safety, and safe interaction between pedestrians and powered industrial vehicles
- Coordinate emergency response efforts
Requirements
- Experience with OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
- Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine safety, and risk assessment/hazard identification methodologies
- Experience with fall protection, dock safety, and pedestrian/vehicle safety
- Ability to conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions
- Experience with employee safety engagement initiatives

Pay
$40–$45 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.
