Env., Health, and Safety Engineer

Seeking an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer to provide on-the-floor support at a manufacturing facility, ensuring compliance with EHS policies through routine audits, safety observations, and employee engagement initiatives. The role also supports incident investigations and follows up on corrective actions to maintain a safe and compliant workplace.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with EHS policies through routine audits and safety observations
• Support incident investigations and follow up on corrective actions
• Engage employees in safety initiatives
• Apply knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
• Implement Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine safety, and risk assessment/hazard identification methodologies
• Oversee fall protection, dock safety, and safe interaction between pedestrians and powered industrial vehicles
• Coordinate emergency response efforts

Requirements

• Experience with OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
• Knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems
• Familiarity with Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine safety, and risk assessment/hazard identification methodologies
• Experience with fall protection, dock safety, and pedestrian/vehicle safety
• Ability to conduct incident investigations and implement corrective actions
• Experience with employee safety engagement initiatives

Pay

$40–$45 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.
